The New Orleans Saints are lucky to have a versatile player like Taysom Hill.
He played quarterback when then-starter Drew Brees went out with an injury.
Then, he was listed as a tight end when the 2022 NFL season began.
The undrafted player from BYU is doing anything he can to help the team win, which was evident during their Week 5 victory against the Seattle Seahawks.
More importantly, his effort earned him an impressive distinction.

The Saints’ official Twitter account shared that Hill was declared Offensive Player of the Week after their 39-32 triumph over the Seahawks.
While Andy Dalton was still the team’s starting quarterback, Hill would check in during wildcat plays.
He did have one completion for 22 yards but made the most damage on the ground.
Hill had nine carries for 112 yards and three touchdowns.
He also had a 22-yard touchdown pass to Adam Trautmann.
Meanwhile, Alvin Kamara also had a superb game with 103 rushing and 91 receiving yards.
However, he did not score a touchdown and lost a fumble to Seattle’s Tariq Woolen.
The Saints will be gunning for their first winning streak in 2022 with a victory in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
A Glimpse Of Hill’s NFL Career
The Green Bay Packers signed Hill to their offseason squad after going undrafted in 2017.
Unfortunately, he did not make it to the final 53-man roster.
The Saints then claimed him off waivers, and was eventually promoted to the active roster.
Now, he is winning awards and proving he is one of the most dynamic players in the entire NFL.
