Each week it seems to be someone new having a breakout performance in the NFL.
This week there were even a few “no-named” players who put on a show.
For most NFL teams that go through injuries, it is always the next man up.
Here are three players that stepped up and had big games on Sunday.
1. Christian Watson, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers were in serious need of a playmaker at wide receiver.
It appears they found one in rookie Christian Watson.
Watson has battled injuries most of the season and has been a non-factor up to this point.
On Sunday, Watson caught four passes for 107 yards and three touchdowns.
Christian Watson in his first 6 games in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers:
– 10 receptions
– 88 receiving yards
– 0 receiving touchdownsChristian Watson on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys:
– 4 receptions
– 107 receiving yards
– 3 receiving touchdowns— RJ Ochoa (@rjochoa) November 14, 2022
The second-round pick set career highs in each category and will remain a go-to target for Aaron Rodgers.
2. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Wide Receiver, Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans have been one team that has struggled to get any production from their wide receivers.
They traded A.J. Brown in the offseason and used their first-round pick on Treylon Burks.
Burks has just come off the injured reserve and had not done anything when on the field.
So Nick Westbrook-Ikhine stepped up in a big way on Sunday.

The 25-year-old receiver caught five passes for 119 yards and scored two touchdowns in the game.
Tennessee will need continued production from their receivers this season if they are to make a playoff run.
3. Jeff Wilson Jr., Running Back, Miami Dolphins
At the trade deadline, the Miami Dolphins took a chance on running back Jeff Wilson Jr.
It looks like a good move as Wilson has been the top running back over his games in Miami.
On Sunday, Wilson carried the ball 17 times for 119 yards and one touchdown.

His 7.0 yards per carry were phenomenal and he continues to get clear running lanes with opposing teams focused on stopping the pass.
Look for the Dolphins to continue utilizing Wilson in a lead role for the rest of the season.
