The NBA released its 2024-25 schedule and the Phoenix Suns immediately got to work antagonizing other teams.
One of the squads they poked fun at was the Golden State Warriors.
In a post on X, the Suns posted the Warriors’ logo, along with pictures of a rock band and a wagon, suggesting all fans of Golden State are “bandwagon” followers.
And with that, the rivalry between these two teams continued to grow.

When the Warriors were the hottest team in the NBA years ago, their fans were constantly accused of being bandwagoners who only jumped on board with Golden State when it was doing well.
Therefore, this dig from the Suns hit them where it hurts.
It’s not surprising to see Phoenix throw shade at Golden State, especially after last season.
The teams were already fierce competitors, but things were taken to the next level when Draymond Green was ejected and suspended after hitting Phoenix’s Jusuf Nurkic during a game.
Then, months later, the Suns were able to reach the playoffs while the Warriors missed the postseason entirely.
However, Warriors fans will be quick to point out that the Suns haven’t earned a championship.
The West is filled with multiple rivalries and interesting storylines that will grow more in 2024-25.
It seems that these two teams are going to keep having bad blood, especially if mocking like this continues.
The Suns are making fun now, but the Warriors could get the last laugh if they beat them in the regular season or better yet, in the playoffs.
