The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs are meeting in a Week 7 rematch of the Super Bowl.
One of the intriguing matchups within the game will be 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy against Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
Spagnuolo recently spoke very highly of Purdy and the challenge he presents preparing for a game.
“I can’t find a weakness in this QB,” Spagnulo said, via David Lombardi of The San Francisco Standard.
Steve Spagnuolo, who’s arguably the best defensive coordinator in the NFL, on Brock Purdy: “I can’t find a weakness in this QB.”

Purdy led the NFL in passer rating last season (113.0) and threw for 4,280 yards with 31 touchdowns.
He has helped the 49ers to back-to-back NFC Championship Game appearances and a Super Bowl appearance last season.
When the teams met in that Super Bowl, Kansas City’s defense got the better of Purdy.
Purdy completed 23 passes for 255 yards and one touchdown, but Spagnuolo’s defense was able to prevail in the overtime win.
Heading into this matchup, the Chiefs are unbeaten this season and the 49ers are at 3-3 without All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey.
This could very well be another Super Bowl preview given the talent and the coaching each team possesses.
If Kansas City’s defense can get force turnovers by Purdy, that could be the difference because of what the Chiefs can do with their offense thanks to Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and company.
