During his playing career in the NFL, wide receiver Steve Smith Jr. had no problem speaking his mind, even if it would get him in trouble from time to time with the league or his teammates and peers.
That no-nonsense approach and unfiltered personality have carried over to Smith’s career after football, as he continues to express his opinions and doesn’t care who does or doesn’t agree with what he has to say.
The three-time All-Pro recently shared his thoughts about quarterbacks in the NFL.
Smith claims he’s “very critical” of quarterbacks, but when it comes to seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, he doesn’t have a bad thing to say.
“Nothin’,” Smith said, via Games with Names. “Tom was crafty.”

With Brady the most successful football player of all time in terms of his accomplishments on the field with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there are few who criticize what he did on the gridiron.
Smith seems to be in the group that is comfortable giving Brady all the praise he deserves for being arguably the greatest player in NFL history, and he appears to have nothing but respect for what the superstar accomplished during his playing days, which came to an end before last season.
