Being on the road can play a crucial role in the performance of any team in the NBA.
The constant travel puts an immense burden on the players’ fitness and can sometimes impact them during games.
However, the Golden State Warriors have negated that impact during their recent games against the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors.
Although the Warriors ended up winning both games, head coach Steve Kerr had an honest admission about the travel issues that he and the team faced in this stretch via Warriors on NBCS on Twitter.
“Last night was brutal; that’s the worst travel circumstances I’ve ever been involved with in the NBA,” Kerr said.

Kerr didn’t mince his words when criticizing the recent travel issues, as he went as far as saying it was the worst he had ever experienced throughout his time in the NBA.
The veteran coach revealed that the players couldn’t sleep before morning, which resulted in them sleeping throughout the day.
Despite such an irregular sleeping schedule, Kerr applauded his players for giving their best against the Toronto Raptors.
After all, the players looked sluggish during the first quarter of the game.
However, the team soon buckled up and ended up registering a 120-105 win over the Raptors.
Stephen Curry was the star of the show with 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists to his name in just 30 minutes of playing time.
In addition to Curry, Jonathan Kuminga contributed 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists to the team’s total.
Following the impressive win over the Raptors, the Warriors improved their record to 32-27 as they reclaimed the ninth seed in the Western Conference.
