The Golden State Warriors saw their season coming to an end on Friday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers put on a show against their rivals, closing the deal and eliminating the defending NBA champions.
This season was full of ups and downs for the Warriors.
It started in training camp with Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole in the face.
Following the game, Steve Kerr reflected on the season, claiming that this group wasn’t a championship team.

Ahead of this season, the Warriors had big expectations.
But in the offseason, they had to part with role players like Gary Payton II, Otto Porter Jr., and Nemanja Bjelica, all important pieces of their championship run.
They brought Gary Payton II back in a trade during the season in an attempt to add some championship experience and chemistry.
They also were not a good road team this season going 11-30.
Jordan Poole was very disappointing and Klay Thompson didn’t score more than 10 points in the last three games of the series.

Now, the Warriors are entering an offseason full of questions.
What is the future of general manager Bob Myers?
Will Draymond Green be back with the team next season?
There are reports that the Warriors expect Klay Thompson to take a pay cut in extension talks.
How will this affect Thompson’s future in Golden State?
After many years at the top, the dynasty might be over, but the Warriors could prove doubters wrong once again.
