The Golden State Warriors have officially clinched a spot in the Play-In Tournament.
That shouldn’t be a lot to celebrate, all things considered, but this team has fought hard for this.
With all the things they’ve been through this season, with Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins struggling, Stephen Curry getting hurt, and Draymond Green being suspended, it’s actually a big deal.
And while not many people think the Warriors stand a chance in the playoffs, coach Steve Kerr actually thinks this team is better than last year’s.
Talking after the win against the Utah Jazz, Coach Kerr acknowledged that he truly believes this team is better, as they play better two-way basketball, have better synergy and connection, and the vibes are simply better (Via Warriors on NBC Sports).

Kerr stated that he still believes the Warriors can do something special in the playoffs, although he did admit that winning one or two road games in the Play-In Tournament wouldn’t be easy.
The Warriors weren’t that good last season and they still managed to get to the second round of the playoffs.
Needless to say, being better than last year’s team should then grant them a better shot to reach the Western Conference Finals at the very least.
Then again, this year’s West is quite stacked, and with the Warriors struggling to find consistency throughout the course of the entire season, it’s hard to envision them getting far in the playoffs.
You never want to bet against Stephen Curry, but this could be his toughest postseason stretch yet.
