For years, NBA fans, analysts, and even players have debated about potential expansions.
It’s become loud and clear that there’s more than enough talent in the league to fill at least two more rosters.
Between veterans, undrafted players, and guys from overseas, the league could easily have several more franchises competing at the highest level, especially after conducting an expansion draft.
With that in mind, and in a recent interview with Buzzfeed, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry showed his support for Seattle to have a team in a potential expansion, talking about how strong their support for the Seattle Supersonics was back in the day (via Bleacher Report).

The Sonics were one of the most popular and beloved teams in the league before their relocation to Oklahoma City, and their fans have advocated for a return ever since that day.
It’s been long enough since one of the most diehard basketball cities in the world has had an NBA team, and it would only be right that they get the first expansion franchise in the future.
Commissioner Adam Silver has addressed the situation recently, and it all points out that we’ll have an extra couple of teams in the foreseeable future, at the very least.
Las Vegas, Kansas, and Kentucky have also emerged as potential destinations for expansion teams, but that information has yet to be disclosed.
Bring back the Sonics; the league was much more entertaining when they existed, and their fans have stood loyal to them even after their relocation.
