The Milwaukee Bucks are one of the favorites to become the 2024 NBA champions.
The credit goes to the team after they acquired Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers via a blockbuster trade in the offseason.
Adding Lillard to the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton easily makes the Bucks one of the top teams in the NBA.
As of now, the duo has played three games together, leading the Bucks to a respectable 2-1 record on the young season.
Stephen A. Smith shared his early impressions of the Lillard-Antetokounmpo duo, via “First Take” on Twitter.
“We expected this as the season progressed- they came out of the box this way, and that’s what I like about it,” Smith said.

The dynamic duo of Lillard and Antetokounmpo simply complement the playing styles of each other.
While Antetokounmpo is a threat from inside, Lillard can make life difficult for even the best perimeter defenders in the league.
Combining the two players’ unique strengths, the Bucks have one of the most potent attacks in the entire league.
As Smith mentioned, most expected the duo to play like this, but only after a few weeks.
However, Antetokounmpo and Lillard have started dominating their opponents right off the bat.
It’s undoubtedly a great start to the season, but the true test of their partnership will be right in the middle of the regular season.
If the Bucks hit a rough patch during the season, it will be crucial for either superstar to step up and lead the team during the slump.
