The Philadelphia Eagles are 2-0 to start the season, and that should be all that matters.
Nonetheless, it seems like people aren’t as sold on them as they were last season, and it may have to do with a matter of attitude.
At least, that’s how ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith seems to feel about this team.
In the latest edition of “First Take,” Smith said that there’s a level of swagger that winning teams have, and the 2023 Eagles don’t seem to have that right now.
"The Eagles had that swag last year, I don’t see it right now.” 👀

He added that they will still be a formidable team and a force to be reckoned with, but there are some tweaks to make.
He also talked about the sideline altercation between Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown, and while he didn’t necessarily say they could have a problem right now, he admitted that not having those two on the same page could be a major issue.
Notably, Hurts downplayed his heated exchange with Brown, stating that they’re still brothers and that he wants to contribute.
DeVonta Smith has emerged as the WR1 this season, as opposed to last year, and it seems like Brown might not be thrilled about that situation.
The Eagles have also taken a run-heavy approach through the first two games of the season, thus limiting Brown’s chances to make an impact.
But there’s still plenty of football left this season, and while this Eagles don’t look as dominant as last year’s, they’re still 2-0 and put up 25 and 34 points, so they shouldn’t be that worried.
