Dallas Mavericks fans shouldn’t get their hopes up about a potential LeBron James trade or signing.
Recent reports state that Kyrie Irving has been in touch with him to try and get him to Texas, but that’s quite unlikely to happen.
At least, that’s what Stephen A. Smith seems to think, as he recently shared in one of his signature rants.
Let’s be real, LeBron isn’t leaving LA pic.twitter.com/wsUgVRPbN7

Smith explained that there’s just no chance that LeBron will leave Los Angeles right now.
He claims that James has made it loud and clear that the only thing he wants besides winning another NBA championship is to play with his older son, Bronny, in his first year in the league.
Bronny recently committed to play at USC next season, and James has been in attendance at multiple high school games since arriving in Los Angeles.
The James family has already established itself in Los Angeles, and it would be tough to believe that LeBron will leave the comfort of his household to embark on a new adventure in Dallas.
Smith adds that the Mavericks don’t have anything going on for them besides Luka Doncic, and that Irving will have to find a way to get himself to the Lakers if he wants to play with James again.
Truth be told, he couldn’t be more accurate this time.
There’s just no chance the Lakers will trade or waive LeBron unless they get Doncic in return, and James won’t relocate at this point in his career with all the things he has in California.
