The Los Angeles Clippers have one of the best coaches in the league in Tyronn Lue.
They haven’t been able to get over the hump, mostly because their best players are always hurt.
With that in mind, it seems like both parties would be ok if Lue were to find a new home in the Western Conference.
According to sources close to Stephen A. Smith, the Phoenix Suns are reportedly interested in luring the former NBA championship coach away from Los Angeles.
"[The Suns] would love to get their hands on Ty Lue… From what I'm hearing out here in LA, the Clippers probably wouldn't mind him being gone, but Ty Lue wouldn't mind being gone. They're just not ready to make that move right now."

The Clippers may have maxed out under Lue already, and there’s only so much he can do with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George constantly getting hurt in the playoffs.
The Suns let Monty Williams go and finding a replacement for a former NBA Coach of the Year is always a complicated task, so it only makes sense that they show an interest in an outstanding tactician like Lue.
Also, not many people could deal with the tough character of a superstar like Kevin Durant, but Lue has had his fair share of future Hall of Famers under his tutelage, so that shouldn’t be an issue in the Valley of the Sun.
Of course, both teams would still need to work out compensation for the Suns to pry the Clippers’ coach away from them, not to mention the Clippers would also need to have someone zeroed in on before even thinking of letting Lue go.
But this is a story worth following in the next couple of weeks as we head to the offseason.
