The Miami Heat scored a big win with their Game 2 victory over the Denver Nuggets earlier this week.
This evened the NBA Finals to 1-1 and gave the Heat a much-needed road win.
Now they are looking to extend the momentum and move into Game 3 with the wind in their sails.
Stephen A. Smith believes that they will.
“Although I have the Denver Nuggets winning this series, I don’t believe they win tonight,” Smith enthusiastically said on Wednesday’s First Take.

Smith said that the Nuggets have plenty of tools to secure a win, such as Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.
He also believes that Murray and Michael Porter Jr. will only get better as the series goes on.
But he foresees Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin, and the rest of the Heat roster arriving with something to prove on Wednesday night.
He is particularly interested to see how they shoot from beyond the three-point line.
Smith believes that is the key to victory for their first game back in Miami during the Finals.
The crowd will be ready to root them on and the team will be eager to prove something to both the Nuggets and the fans.
If they are able to snatch a 2-1 lead in the series, a lot of people will think they could actually surprise the entire NBA world and win the Finals.
Smith thinks that the series will eventually be won by Denver, but the Heat are wanting to prove him wrong.
They have been combatting peoples’ expectations all playoffs long and they definitely want to do it again.
A home victory on Wednesday night could help make that happen.
