Damian Lillard has his new home in the NBA and fans of the Milwaukee Bucks are excited to see what he can do.
Lillard planned on going to the Miami Heat but he is instead residing in Milwaukee.
However, that might be just what he needs to win his first championship.
Speaking on “First Take,” Stephen A. Smith said that the pairing of Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo will end up being “perfect.”
He believes that Lillard and Antetokounmpo will work wonderfully together and that Lillard will give the Bucks what they have needed for so long.

"It catapults the Milwaukee Bucks, as far as I'm concerned, to easily being a top two team in the Eastern Conference, and a top three team in all of the NBA." pic.twitter.com/N59zjT6CVi

Smith said that Milwaukee has been lacking a “closer” and a “sniper” – and that is exactly what Lillard is.
He is certainly a very strong offensive player and is able to make some miraculous shots, including some very important clutch ones.
There is every reason to believe that he and Antetokounmpo will create a very strong bond because they both want the same thing: a championship.
There are still questions about this new-look Bucks team, of course.
Smith noted that Khris Middleton’s health could remain a problem.
Additionally, Lillard’s lack of defensive prowess could hurt the team, although their defense has been strong in the past.
But will it be as strong without Jrue Holiday, who was sent away in the three-team trade?
Smith believes that the Lillard deal now makes the Bucks a top-two team in the Eastern Conference and a top-three team in all of the league.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t have competition and it also doesn’t mean they won’t face some challenges.
Lillard is finally with a team that could earn him his first championship ring.
Now the hard work begins.
