The Golden State Warriors played their first game of the NBA In-Season Tournament against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It was a high-scoring game, as the final score stood at 141-139 in favor of the Warriors.
Despite the loss, the Thunder left a huge impact on the fans and their opponents with a sensational battle against a team full of veteran superstars like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
So much so that Stephen Curry exchanged his jersey with Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Chet Holmgren after an epic duel, as revealed via the NBA’s official Twitter handle.

Stephen Curry had 30 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in just 31 minutes of playing time.
On the other hand, Chet Holmgren put up 24 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists in 32 minutes.
While it was an epic duel between the two stars, the Warriors ultimately took the win as they registered their first win of the NBA In-Season Tournament’s group stage.
However, considering the Thunder barely lost the game, the rest of the teams have noticed their arrival in the league.
In fact, head coach Steve Kerr went as far as saying that the Thunder have arrived in the league and they are here to stay for the foreseeable future.
It seems like the Thunder will finally end their playoff drought of three years.
Sure, they qualified for the NBA Play-In Tournament last season, but they failed to clinch a place in the playoffs following their loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Can the Thunder finally end their drought? Only time will tell.
