Steph Curry has done so many things during his time in the NBA and there is no doubt that he has quite literally changed the league forever.
So, what will he do when the time comes to finally hang up his jersey?
Perhaps the world of politics is in his future.
Curry sat down with CBS Mornings, via Complex Sports, and said that he would be open to starting a political career because he is interested in “leveraging every part of my influence for good.”
However, Curry did say that he didn’t have aspirations to run for President and he also said that running in 2028 is too soon so it would be much further down the road.

Like many NBA stars of his generation, Curry has a deep interest in helping other people, spreading equality, and using his name and status for good.
He has been involved in multiple causes so his interest in providing help and influencing others in the future isn’t surprising.
However, this is the first time that Curry has mentioned a desire to run for political office.
It’s not clear what Curry envisions exactly but he would definitely have a good chance of being elected to a number of positions.
This is especially true if he ran in the San Francisco area, where he is well-regarded and hailed as a hero to the region.
Curry said that 2028 is out of the picture, which means that he would be running for office in his forties, which makes sense.
That is still several years away, which means that Golden State Warriors fans don’t have to worry about losing their favorite player any time soon.
