Many NBA players currently in the league have an affinity for NBA legend Kobe Bryant.
He was one of the greatest players of all time and had a great nickname of the “Black Mamba.”
His work ethic was second to none and every kid growing up wanted to play like him.
That is why when younger NBA players first played against Bryant it was a surreal moment.
One player who can recall three awesome interactions with Bryant is Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.
Curry went on “Hot Ones” to discuss the three interactions where Bryant validated his game.
The first validation came in Curry’s rookie year where Kobe said “he’s nice” after making a shot.
Most young NBA players want to feel like they belong in the league.
Another cool moment was when Bryant said Curry has the “killer instinct” behind his smile.
Curry was given the nickname “baby-faced assassin,” as he seems harmless until you step onto the basketball floor.
The Warriors star has come a long way from his rookie season.
All the interactions he had as a young player have helped shaped him into the player he is today.
He has become one of the game’s greatest players and a four-time NBA champion.
Also, he still looks to be in the prime of his career.
Curry has shown no signs of slowing down as he feels there is much more he can accomplish in his career.
It will be fun to watch Curry and the Warriors chase another championship in 2023-24.
