Golden State Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry has had an incredibly successful career in the NBA thus far, with the future Hall of Famer winning four titles and two NBA MVP awards while singlehandedly helping change the game with three-point shooting becoming the emphasis in today’s league.
In an interview with Complex Sports, the Warriors superstar was asked a number of rapid-fire questions, with one of them potentially being more interesting than most, as it was about what player he wished he would’ve been able to play with.
Without hesitation, Curry named Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal, who also came up earlier in the conversation when the Warriors icon said the Hall-of-Fame center should’ve been the first player to win NBA MVP unanimously ahead of him.

The thought of these two legends in their prime playing together is a scary thought, to say the least, with O’Neal drawing so much attention in the paint while Curry gets all the space to do what he wants on the perimeter.
Although Kobe Bryant and O’Neal were a force to be reckoned with in their time together, this duo might’ve taken it to another level depending on the talent they had around them, either in Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Obviously, this is one of those scenarios that fans will never see with O’Neal long since retired, but it’s a fun NBA 2K-like situation that would’ve had fans going wild for the Warriors or Lakers, wherever these two would’ve played together in the league.
