It’s all over now for the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Golden State Warriors took down the Grizz with a 110-96 Game 6 victory on Friday night.

It was the end of a long, impressive season for Memphis – one that put them on the radar for many, many people.

Indeed, Memphis won a lot of fans this season – including Stephen Curry of the Warriors.

Following the game, Curry spoke incredibly well of the Grizzlies.

Speaking of the respect he has for every single guy on the squad, Curry said Memphis was a higher seed “for a reason” and had an incredible season.

He also said the team made his Warriors better and that there is “definitely respect” for the young, up-and-coming team.

Curry also suggested the Grizzlies are going to be towards the top of the Western Conference for some time to come.

Is he right?

The Era Of The Grizzlies

The Grizzlies ended the season as the second seed in the West, surprising many.

There were legions of fans who expected a lot from Memphis but the fact that they concluded in such a high position was still very impressive and surpassed expectations.

Now the question is just how long will it last?

Will they remain a dominant team for a long time, or will this be as good as it gets for them?

All signs point to the Grizzlies being competitive for quite a while.

Their core group – Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr, and others – should stick around for the foreseeable future.

These guys work well together and are only getting better as a unit.

There is no reason to believe that the Grizzlies will fall off drastically next season.

In fact, there is a strong chance that they will be back in the playoffs again this time next year.
