For the first time in his legendary career, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has looked truly frustrated.
Even in the two seasons they missed the playoffs, Curry didn’t look as angry as he’s looked this season.
Perhaps that comes from the fact that he knows he could be entering the backend of his prime, or maybe he doesn’t feel like his teammates are putting in a strong effort on the court.
That’s why, following another loss, the future Hall of Famer was quite blunt and straightforward about his team’s struggles.
He stated that he would never shy away from his responsibility to play at the highest level and consistently help his team win (via Warriors on NBC Sports).
“I’m never going to shy away from my responsibility when it comes to playing well every night,” Curry said.

Notably, that has been a regular talking point for No. 30 this season.
He’s called out his teammates multiple times — last night included — urging them to play with a greater sense of urgency.
There are only 13 games left in the regular season, and it seems highly unlikely that the Warriors will be able to avoid the Play-In Tournament.
Some believe this is the end of the dynasty, as most of their championship core has struggled this season.
Curry continues to play like a top-five player and is undeniably the best point guard in the game, but that hasn’t been enough for Steve Kerr’s team.
And even if you never want to bet against him and the Warriors in a seven-game series, this team doesn’t look like a legitimate NBA championship contender right now.
