It is no secret that Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is a terrific three-point shooter.
After all, he holds the league’s record for the most three-pointers made in a career and has literally transformed the way other players and fans value that special shot.
But Curry continues to make history with his buckets from downtown.
According to SLAM, there are just seven 300-plus three-pointer seasons in all of NBA history.
Curry, who recently earned his latest 300-plus three-pointer season, now has five of those seven.
He did it in 2015-16, 2016-17, 2018-19, 2020-21, and now 2023-24.

The two other players who rank with Curry are James Harden, who scored 378 three-pointers in 2018-19, and Klay Thompson, who recorded 301 in 2022-23.
Curry is in a league all his own when it comes to threes and it has been that way for a very long time.
When he took his place in history as the player with the most three-pointers made, there was still some debate about whether he is truly the best shooter the NBA has ever seen.
Now the consensus has become even more unanimous and almost everyone agrees that Curry is better than the rest.
He is 36 years old but Curry remains an expert shot-maker, including from beyond the arc.
He is scoring 26.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game this season, including 40.5% of his threes.
His three-point percentage has dropped just a bit this season but he is still a force to be reckoned with.
With 4.9 made threes per game and a lot of energy remaining, Curry could earn a few more 300-plus three-point seasons in the next few years of his career.
