Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes sets the bar a little higher every single year he’s in the NFL in terms of what the criteria is for being the best quarterback in the league.
Although many people doubted the Chiefs’ chances of winning it all last season due to the departure of superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Mahomes and company proved them all wrong by winning a second Super Bowl title under head coach Andy Reid.
Winning it all without arguably the best wideout in the league was a statement for Mahomes as it proved he could make it work with pretty much anyone, much like Tom Brady did during his career with the New England Patriots.
Along with being arguably the best quarterback in the league today with two Super Bowl titles to his credit, Mahomes also knows how to rack up passing yards, as he has more 400-yard passing games than any quarterback in the league since 2020, according to PFF.

That’s an impressive stat, to say the least, as six 400-yard passing games are no easy feat, but what is perhaps even more impressive is the fact that three quarterbacks currently in the league have at least five of these 400-yard passing games.
Cincinnati Bengals superstar Joe Burrow being one of the three isn’t all that surprising, as he continues to carve out his path in the league as arguably Mahomes’ biggest rival.
However, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys also having five 400-yard passing games is another case entirely, as that was completely unexpected.
Prescott is a solid starter in the NFL and has had some impressive performances over the years, but this stat has to be up there with the best accomplishments he’s had thus far in his career.
