The Miami Dolphins have been one of the most disappointing teams in the 2024 NFL season, as they were expected to be Super Bowl contenders.
Unfortunately, the Dolphins have failed to live up to expectations due to a combination of injuries and inconsistent offensive play.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed a good chunk of the season due to a concussion, but now that he’s back, Miami’s offense is getting back on track.
Meanwhile, the defense has been one of the bright spots, able to get stops and put the team in good positions to score.
Leading the charge is cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who is having a resurgent year and arguably his best season since being traded to the Dolphins.
In fact, Ramsey is dominating several defensive categories, which proves he’s still an elite NFL corner.
“Jalen Ramsey PFF grades this season (league ranks): 84.3 overall grade (2nd), 82.6 coverage grade (3rd), 85.6 run grade (7th). The only CB in the NFL with an 80+ grade in all three categories,” FinsXtra wrote on X.

Ramsey is one of the most physical and smart defensive backs in the league.
He has a knack for being around the football and making plays.
That gives the defense an edge which could very well be the difference between the Dolphins making or missing the postseason.
Miami has a great opportunity to stack another win as it hosts the New England Patriots in Week 12.
With his versatility, Ramsey can certainly make an impact in this game.
