The Cleveland Browns have underwhelmed this season.
With a record of 6-8, they currently find themselves under .500 and are in third place in the AFC North.
However, one of their defensive players continues to shine at an individual level despite the team’s overall shortcomings.

Defensive End Myles Garrett yet again finds himself among elite company.
He has the highest pass-rush rate of any defensive player this season, which is more than superstars Nick Bosa and Micah Parsons.
This season, Garrett has 42 total tackles, 13.5 sacks, and has had two forced fumbles.
Simply put, Garrett is a force to be reckoned with whenever he is on the field.
The Future Of Garrett And The Browns
Have no fear, Browns fans.
Garrett’s contract with the Browns will last until 2026, although he can technically opt out of the contract in 2024.
Garrett will continue to create havoc against Browns’ opponents for years to come, provided that he can stay healthy.
Will the Browns be able to compete in 2023?
The Browns share a division with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals.
With the Bengals and the Ravens having fantastic rosters and respective records this season of 10-4 and 9-5, the Browns will need to put their best foot forward in 2023 to have a chance in the division.
If quarterback Deshaun Watson can play at his former MVP-caliber stature, the Browns will have a great opportunity to succeed in 2023 and beyond.
With a player like Garrett leading their defense, the future of the Browns is in good hands.
