The Atlanta Braves have been a well-oiled machine all season.
No one has found the blueprint to slow them down.
They are led by the best lineup in baseball that is full of All-Star-caliber players.
One through nine they have hitters that can beat you on any given night.
With the way pitching has improved across the league, we have seen batting averages decline for some players.
Yet, that has not been the case at all for the Braves.
According to Codify, Atlanta has a team batting average of .275 this year.

.258 Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays
.257 Los Angeles…— Codify (@CodifyBaseball) September 14, 2023
That is eight points better than the Texas Rangers, who have the second-best team average.
The Braves are so far ahead of the next-best NL team that it is not even fair.
If you look down at .258 you see the Philadelphia Phillies, who are the second NL team on the list.
Looking at the Braves roster, everything has worked out for them this year.
They have a lineup full of players who are having career seasons.
Ronald Acuna Jr. is going to win the NL MVP award, but he is just one of many impact players.
Matt Olson has hit 51 home runs with 128 RBI.
Also, they have All-Stars in Austin Riley, Ozzie Albies, and Sean Murphy.
There is not a pitching staff in baseball that can slow this team down.
Anything short of a World Series appearance will be a major disappointment.
The Braves have set the bar high this year, and they cannot fold come playoff time.
