The 2024 NFL season is officially here.
Two games have already gone down, with both providing lots of drama and excitement.
The first game of the year was between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens, a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship.
While the Chiefs prevailed in that game, the Ravens looked solid throughout, indicating that they’re slated to be a strong team again.
One of the most important reasons for the Ravens’ success is Lamar Jackson, their franchise QB and the reigning league MVP.
Jackson has been a polarizing player throughout his career, as some have been concerned about his longevity due to his aggressive playing style.
To some, however, Jackson’s playstyle is seen as his greatest asset and the reason the Ravens have been so successful.
Snoop Dogg is seemingly a Jackson apologist, as he gave him high praise during a recent podcast.
According to All the Smoke Productions on X, Snoop Dogg said, “He’s who the kids wanna be. He’s more believable than anyone else in the league… No disrespect, but he’s the one, not the two.”

Snoop Dogg’s comments indicate that Jackson is better than Patrick Mahomes, at least in his mind.
Mahomes and the Chiefs have won three of the past five Super Bowls, so it’s tough to debate his toughness and overall playing ability.
Jackson could do a lot for his legacy to unseat the three-time champ in this year’s playoffs, but judging by the first game of the year, it won’t be easy.
