The pressure is building on Los Angeles Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka to do something to enhance his team’s chances of reaching the playoffs.
Even the most devoted fans are growing impatient with what they’re seeing from the team’s front office.
Speaking on “First Take” Friday morning, diehard Lakers fanatic Snoop Dogg said the current state of the team “ain’t gonna cut it.”
He pleaded with Pelinka to commit to some season-changing trades as soon as possible.
“As Lakers fans, y’all are on the clock,” Snoop calmly threatened.

Snoop has been a fan of the team for decades and is one of the most loyal followers, often sitting courtside and wearing purple and gold to represent his hometown squad.
So the fact that even he is pressing the Lakers to change things shows just how frustrated fans are.
There is a chance that Pelinka will get to work soon, as early as this weekend.
Rumors say the Lakers and Washington Wizards are already having conversations about Jonas Valančiūnas, who could hit the trade market this weekend.
But that isn’t the only change that fans want to see.
They know time with LeBron James is running out, and they loathe the idea of the Lakers throwing away another season because Pelinka is hesitant to give away draft picks.
According to millions of fans like Snoop, the time is now.
If the Lakers don’t do something, the outrage will be swift and loud.
Fans were patient during the quiet offseason, but their patience is all but gone.
There is no doubt that the Lakers are on the clock, and that clock is ticking.
