The New York Giants just suffered one of the most embarrassing losses in franchise history, and to a divisional rival and at home, just to add insult to injury.
Daniel Jones didn’t look like the kind of player who should be making $40 million a year, struggling to move the chains, and once again losing to the Dallas Cowboys.
That’s why NFL analyst Skip Bayless — who also happens to be a diehard Cowboys fan — took to Twitter to troll him by calling him ‘Danny Pennies.’
Danny Pennies.

This is obviously in response to the ‘Danny Dimes’ nickname some fans have coined for the Duke product, who was coming off the best season of his career.
Jones’ career has been less than impressive, to say the least.
The Giants didn’t even pick up his fifth-year option last summer, and some were shocked to see that the franchise was willing to sign him to a long-term extension instead of placing him under the franchise tag.
That would’ve avoided them plenty of drama about star RB Saquon Barkley, not to mention the fact that it would’ve allowed them to see if last season’s ‘breakout’ was a fluke or if he was going to keep on improving with Brian Daboll leading the way.
Jones will have a huge target on his back throughout the course of the season.
And while one should never overreact after just one game, he didn’t look good at all in his season debut, but at least he’ll get a chance to bounce back when he faces the Arizona Cardinals next week.
