When the NFL offseason is underway, there can sometimes be a lack of topics to cover.
No games are currently being played, and there is only so much pre-draft coverage that networks can put out.
Luckily for them, several dramatic situations have yet to unfold throughout the league.
One of those situations is the Aaron Rodgers saga.
Rodgers has been a hot-button topic throughout the offseason, especially since he is still on the Green Bay Packers.
Recently, Skip Bayless commented on Rodgers’ predicament, saying “Aaron Rodgers is careless with the truth when it benefits him.”
I LOVED every word that came out of Gutekunst’s mouth yesterday. He went scorched earth and put it all on Aaron Rodgers, who I have always said is a master manipulator. More @undisputed, now on FS1. https://t.co/Fpsa4WA8PB

Bayless’ comments came directly on the heels of GM Brian Gutekunst’s latest press conference.
During this press conference, Gutekunst refuted many of Rodgers’ public statements, including the fact that Rodgers wasn’t communicative with the Packers.
It appears that Bayless is on the side of Gutekunst and the Packers, essentially calling Rodgers a liar.
Bayless also referred to Rodgers as a “master manipulator,” indicating that this is something that has followed him throughout his career.
Rodgers has publicly said that he prefers, and intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023.
Gutekunst seems to be on board with this, as he has made it very clear that the organization is ready to have Jordan Love as their starting quarterback.
However, this deal hasn’t been signed yet.
In the NFL, anything can happen.
If this trade does fall through, and Rodgers does play for the Packers in 2023, this situation could get a whole lot more interesting for all parties involved.NEXT: Packers GM Offers Series Of Aaron Rodgers Updates
