The Phoenix Suns need someone who can get their stars the basketball in the spots they need it.
They desperately need Chris Paul, and it’s become all the more evident since their Game 5 loss.
According to Skip Bayless, the Suns missed Paul’s mental and physical toughness to lead the way in a must-win game.
The Suns fall to a 3-2 deficit after a 118-102 loss to the Nuggets:
"Last night was the night they really missed Chris Paul. They needed his guidance, quarterbacking and his presence."

Bayless argued that Kevin Durant came out flat and they needed someone who could quarterback them and push them to the edge, and that’s where Paul comes in handy.
Paul has been heavily criticized over the years for not being available in the playoffs and for his lack of postseason success, but there’s no denying that he’s one of the greatest point guards this game has ever seen.
Paul is the true definition of a floor general, an extension of the coach on the floor, and a guy who won’t hesitate to put his body on the line or get physical if that’s what it takes to win.
As good a playmaker and ball-handler as Durant is, he’s not a point guard by any means, and Devin Booker can only do so much when asked to be their primary scorer as well.
The Suns have a lot of talent in that starting lineup, but they’re so thin at every position.
Every injury could be a catastrophe for this team, and they might not live another day if Paul isn’t ready to suit up and get back on the floor for Thursday night’s must-win matchup.
