The Kansas City Chiefs won’t have their star quarterback in the Pro Bowl.
Patrick Mahomes didn’t get the nod this time around.
However, that’s just how it was supposed to be, at least according to Skip Bayless.
Shortly after the rosters were announced, Bayless took to X to claim that Mahomes didn’t deserve to get a spot this season.
Told you about Mahomes. No way he belongs on this Pro Bowl roster.

As harsh as it might sound, he might be right.
Mahomes has improved as the season has progressed, but he hasn’t been the usual dominant player of old.
His numbers don’t stack up with other players, but that doesn’t mean he’s still not the best or one of the best quarterbacks in the game.
For starters, he’s been the best quarterback in the league when the game is on the line; that clutch gene remains untouched.
Besides that, he continues to be the last quarterback anybody wants to see in a win-or-go-home situation.
The fact that the Chiefs have gone 15-1 despite not having Mahomes playing at the highest level should tell you everything there is to know about the team.
They haven’t even needed him to throw for 300 yards and three touchdowns or average 30 points per game to have the best record in the league this season.
The playoffs are entirely different, and we’ve seen what Mahomes has been capable of in those situations.
Moreover, it’s not like he’s used to suiting up for the Pro Bowl anyway, as he’s usually getting ready to play in the Super Bowl instead.
