The Miami Heat have fought hard to get to the NBA Finals and have proven their worth but there are still many people who think they will be easily defeated by the Denver Nuggets.
Las Vegas and the betting markets definitely don’t think the Heat will pull off a lot of victories and have the Nuggets as current favorites to claim the championship.
Skip Bayless still believes in the Heat and thinks their recent track record shows they may win it all.
“I am laughing out loud at how Vegas is looking at them. The Heat continue to be devalued,” Bayless said on Undisputed.
“I am loving this because it’s all wrong,” Bayless proudly stated.
The Nuggets are heavy favorites to win the Finals and 8.5-point favorites to win Game 1:

Bayless makes some fair points about why the Heat could shock everyone.
He reminded viewers that this Heat team were the underdogs against every team they have played so far.
Over the last few months, they have defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (statistically the best team in the league), the New York Knicks (a surging up-and-coming squad), and the Boston Celtics (the second-best team in their conference).
Bayless also pointed out that the Heat were able to stop the Celtics even though Boston found a way to slow down and limit Jimmy Butler for most of the series.
This shows that the roster is deep and there are multiple ways for them to win.
Plus, Butler may shake off the rough patch he fell into during the Eastern Conference Finals and might look like “Playoff Jimmy” again.
If that happens, the Heat could be taking down another number-one seed.
All eyes will be on Game 1 Thursday night to see if the Heat are off to another strong start in the Finals.
Can they once again prove all the critics wrong and prove Bayless right?
