Damian Lillard is now a member of the Milwaukee Bucks – and many Bucks fans are very happy about that.
And while there are countless analysts who think the trade that acquired Lillard was a smart one for the Bucks, others believe it was a mistake.
Skip Bayless is one of them.
Following the trade on Wednesday, Bayless hopped on Twitter to share his opinion: “Trading [Jrue] Holiday for Lillard just made the Bucks a little worse.”
Trading Holiday for Lillard just made the Bucks a little worse.

The responses to Bayless’ comments were mostly critical but some people agreed with him.
There are those who feel that losing Holiday will really hurt the Bucks in the long run.
Last season, Holiday averaged 19.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 7.4 assists.
Those numbers are quite strong but most people feel that Lillard did much better in 2022-23.
However, Holiday is known for his defensive skills, something that Lillard sometimes lacks.
So, will losing Holiday come back to haunt the Bucks later in the season?
Obviously, there is a lot of upside to landing Lillard.
He is one of the greatest point guards in the league and his 32.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 7.3 assists a game speak for themselves.
Plus, the combination of Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo might end up doing a lot more than the combination of Holiday and Antetokounmpo.
Lillard wanted to play for a championship contender and he now is.
Antetokounmpo wanted his front office to show commitment and they did.
The Portland Trail Blazers wanted a few important assets in return, and they got that.
In many ways, this trade worked out for everyone involved.
But Bayless is warning that it might not be as great as it seems.
