The NFL has a group of rookie quarterbacks that join the league each season.
Some get off to fast starts in their careers, but others take time to develop into good players.
One player who will need more time to develop is first-overall pick Bryce Young.
He has gotten off to a rough start in his career with the Carolina Panthers sitting at 1-8.
Plus, he has only thrown more than one touchdown pass in a game one time.
But, all of the blame should not go to Young.
He is trying his best but getting no help from those around him.
Skip Bayless is not losing confidence in Young despite the slow start.
He said on “Undisputed,” “I believe he’s going to turn into a very good NFL starting QB.”
.@RealSkipBayless remains “bullish” about Bryce Young despite 1-8 record:

It is easy to give up on Young or any struggling rookie after a few rough games.
The fact of the matter is most rookies need time to learn the NFL game.
What we are seeing from C.J. Stroud this season is an anomaly.
He is dominating and should be in the conversation for league MVP.
But, Stroud found himself in a much better situation than the one in Carolina.
The Panthers have a poor offensive line and a weak group of skill players.
If the Panthers can improve the players around Young, you can bet we will see improvements.
The rest of this season will most likely be a struggle for Young, but the future remains bright in Carolina.
