The Dallas Mavericks went from a superstar to the next one.
Luka Doncic took the torch right from Dirk Nowitzki’s hands, and it didn’t take long before he introduced himself to the world.
Notably, he’s had some epic battles with the Los Angeles Clippers, as well as some epic performances in the postseason.
To say that he doesn’t like them and vice versa could be a bit of an understatement, which is why he’s made sure to let them know after every bucket and after every win.
With that in mind, sports analyst Skip Bayless took to Twitter to acknowledge his solid performance in Game 5, as well as all the trash-talking he did.
Luka looks down at his defenders with such disdain. He trash talks the Clippers bench after scoring. He nods his head repeatedly after scoring, as if to say, "You know who I am." Luka Doncic is one bad …

Doncic has his team on the verge of moving on to the Western Conference Semifinals.
For years, people have talked about how the Mavericks needed to surround him with gritty and physical players to protect him in the playoffs.
The Mavs now have solid defenders and enforcers who won’t hesitate to put their bodies on the line to protect him, not to mention an elite scoring sidekick in Kyrie Irving.
Some still believe they don’t have enough to go the distance and win the NBA Finals.
Still, you never want to come across guys of Doncic’s and Kyrie’s caliber in a seven-game series.
Luka is feeling himself right now, and he clearly feels like his time to dominate and take another step forward has come, and that should be a scary thought for the rest of the Association.
