Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers were expecting some moves from their team at the start of free agency.
But few were expecting a lot.
General Manager Rob Pelinka was busy on Friday, making a series of deals that could have a huge impact on the team next season.
Like others, Skip Bayless was very impressed by what he saw.
“Rob Pelinka just keeps WINNING, making big little moves,” he said on Twitter.
He went on:
“Hachimura, done. Love Gabe Vincent’s swagger, 20-pt-game potential. CamReddish oozes untapped talent. Like Taurean Prince’s toughness. Now you hope Austin Reaves take a little less to play alongside LeBron, w AD, in LA.”

It is important to note that this tweet was posted before the Lakers also agreed to a deal with Jaxson Hayes too.
It’ll be interesting to see what Bayless says about that addition as well.
All in all, Pelinka and his staff were very busy on Friday and into Saturday morning.
From the get-go, it was clear their biggest goals were re-signing both Hachiumura and Reaves.
While Hachimura’s deal was finished on Friday night, there still hasn’t been a confirmation of Reaves’ return.
Chances are that his own representation is waiting to hear offers from a few other teams around the league.
After that, the Lakers can match any deal sent his way.
The conventional wisdom suggests that Reaves will be coming back to LA, it just remains to be seen for how much money.
Pelinka has been making massive moves for the team since February and has won over the hearts of many Lakers fans who were lukewarm on him before that.
The new recruits he added at the trade deadline were part of the reason the Lakers did so well in the playoffs.
Will these latest acquisitions from around the league improve their chances of returning to the Western Conference Finals?
