The Dallas Cowboys made a big move when they traded for Trey Lance.
Jerry Jones could be sending Dak Prescott a message after all the worrisome reports coming from training camp.
However, Skip Bayless doesn’t think he’s the guy Prescott should be worried about right now.
Per the outspoken pundit — who’s a confessed Cowboys diehard fan — Lance won’t even have a role on the team this season.
Instead, he believes Cooper Rush is a much bigger threat for Prescott right now, going as far as to state that he operated the offense more efficiently than Prescott when he was on the field last season.

Bayless went on to recall every single one of Rush’s performances and he made a case for him actually playing very well before the team turned back to Prescott once he was healthy.
Whatever the case, the fact of the matter is that for the first time in his career, it finally seems like Prescott has some legit competition and his job is no longer safe.
Dak has vowed to bounce back and be better next season, but we’ll have to see it to believe it.
The Cowboys have plenty of talent in their receiving corps, but no one seems to consider them a contender because of their quarterback situation.
So, whether it’s Lance, Rush, or whoever, Prescott will have to bring his A-game week in and week out if he wants to continue being the starting quarterback for America’s Team by the end of the season.
