All eyes are on the NBA postseason and specifically the Finals, which are less than two months away.
The field of competitors is crowded and intense but there are already many predictions about who will go all the way.
Skip Bayless, never one to hold back his opinion, is certain that the Finals will be a battle between the Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers – and he thinks the Suns will rise above the Sixers in the end.
Speaking on Undisputed, Bayless said that Joel Embiid of Philadelphia is “the best player on the planet as we speak” and believes that this will be his year to make the Finals and also win MVP.
But he also believes that Kevin Durant of the Suns has something to prove after a disastrous postseason last year.

This is not a very bold choice as many people believe that both of these franchises could win the championship after years of trying.
For Embiid and his Sixers, it would be the result of season after season of hard work and trusting “the process.”
And for Durant and the Suns, it would justify the monster trade that sent him to Phoenix in February and it would also give the team its first Finals victory.
Bayless makes a lot of good points but there are plenty of other teams who are ready and eager to fight hard and prove him wrong.
The Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and Memphis Grizzlies are just some of the teams who would like to earn their spot in the big game.
Right now, Bayless’ prediction sounds pretty smart but a lot can change between now and the start of the Finals.
