The Dallas Cowboys made big news when they traded for former 49ers QB Trey Lance.
The move shows that the Cowboys may be thinking about moving on from Dak Prescott in the near future.
Fox Sports media personality Skip Bayless certainly believes this could be the case as well.
Bayless believes this was a very positive move by Jerry Jones and a steal for the franchise.

He landed a 23-year-old player who was the No. 3 pick in 2021 for just a future fourth-round pick.
Bayless believes that Jones could strike gold in one or two years if they’re able to develop Lance, who needs more experience and touches but also needs to be more durable to find his footing in the National Football League.
Also, Bayless believes that McCarthy and Prescott should now know that they’re on a short leash and their futures with the team are uncertain at the moment.
The Cowboys have one of the most stacked teams on both sides of the field, so they cannot settle for anything less than a deep postseason run this season; it’s as simple as that.
If Prescott continues to underperform and turn the ball over, it wouldn’t be shocking to see him riding the bench and the Cowboys going with Cooper Rush or Lance at some point.
