After the Minnesota Vikings‘ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, a conversation was had about the state of their roster.
Before the game was over, however, Skip Bayless seemed to have made his mind up about Kirk Cousins.
As he mentioned in a mid-game tweet, Bayless said: “Sometimes Kirk Cousins looks like some guy they picked out of the stands just before kickoff.”
Sometimes Kirk Cousins looks like some guy they picked out of the stands just before kickoff and threw a uniform on, including a helmet that's too big.

This tweet was posted before Cousins started to play well, but it is a statement that is often echoed.
Cousins has continued to be among the league leaders in passing yards and touchdowns, yet he is often ridiculed.
How much of the Vikings’ woes are truly Cousins’ doing?
In this Thursday Night Football game, Cousins threw for over 300 yards, adding in four passing touchdowns.
On paper, this seems like a quarterback who helps his team stay in games, leading them on offense.
However, this is not the only factor to keep in mind when analyzing his play, and the Vikings as a whole.
The Vikings defense has often put Cousins and the offense in a difficult position.
Their defense was among the league leaders in points allowed last year, but their offense was able to make up for their miscues.
Plus, the Vikings had four turnovers last night, which did not help their cause.
Even the best teams in the league struggle to win if they have that many turnovers.
If the Vikings want any chance of long-term success, especially in the postseason, they’ll want to mitigate turnovers moving forward.
