It’s not uncommon for NBA players to get into arguments with fans during a game.
However, on Sunday night, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets had a very unique experience.
In the midst of trying to get the ball back from courtside fans, Jokic got into a brief physical tangle with Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia.
Because of this, Jokic was given a technical foul and some people speculate he could be suspended for a game.
While he doesn’t want to see Jokic get suspended for the pivotal Game 5, Skip Bayless believes that the technical foul leveled at Jokic was correct.
"This tech was right."

When watching the footage from the incident, you can see that it’s not so clear.
While Jokic certainly did push against Ishbia, there was also contact with Jokic from Ishbia and others.
It was a very bizarre and complicated situation and something that has rarely ever been seen in the NBA.
It also comes at a very crucial time for the Nuggets.
They lost Sunday night’s game and the series is now tied 2-2.
The thought of losing Jokic for a game because of his actions would be devastating for the Nuggets.
During Game 4, Jokic posted a wild 53 points.
It’s clear that the Nuggets would be decimated without Jokic on the floor for Game 5.
The NBA hasn’t made any official ruling about Jokic’s status.
No matter what decision they make, they will upset one fanbase.
According to Bayless and others, Jokic paid his due by receiving the technical foul on Sunday and that should be the end of it.
Will the NBA agree?
