The Dallas Cowboys looked like one of the best teams in the NFL when they took down the Cleveland Browns in convincing fashion.
Dallas was stout in all three phases of the game and set themselves up well to build on that momentum in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints.
At home, the Cowboys have been one of the best teams in the NFL but their first half was anything but impressive as they quickly fell behind by double digits to a Saints team that looks much improved on offense.
Dallas gave up several big plays to New Orleans, including long touchdowns to Rashid Shaheed and Alvin Kamara.
Although Dak Prescott answered with his own big play to CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys still found themselves trailing at halftime by a large margin.
Longtime Dallas fan Skip Bayless then went viral for his rant about the team at halftime via his personal X account.
“I just had to sit and watch my Dallas Cowboys that I have loved since I was 10 years old with all my heart and soul rip my heart out again in a home regular season game, they won 16 of those in a row, by giving up 35 first half points tying the all-time record for giving up points at home in any kind of game” Bayless said.

Fans seem to be taking delight in Bayless’s misery because of how dramatic he is in the video, though he will likely still be watching the team next week regardless of how Week 2 against the Saints goes.
