MLB The Show is the game of the moment, both in the United States and the rest of the world.
It allows gamers to enjoy several modes and scenarios, including exhibition games, seasons, dynasty modes, practice, and many others.
Players with a higher overall rating will perform better in the gameplay experience, both in games controlled by the user and in simulations and other scenarios.
Each player gets an overall rating from 0 to 100, with the best of the best peaking at 99.
MLB The Show 24 has five players with that rating, led by Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani.
FOX Sports: MLB listed the five names, and there are really no surprises.
“Players with 99 overall rating in MLB The Show 24: Shohei Ohtani, Ronald Acuña Jr., Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Mookie Betts,” they tweeted.

The Dodgers have two players on the list: Ohtani, who signed for $700 million just a couple of months ago, and Betts, the 2018 AL MVP.
The Atlanta Braves have their representative in Acuna (the 2023 NL MVP), while the New York Yankees have Judge, who took the 2022 AL MVP award from Ohtani.
Ohtani’s former teammate on the Los Angeles Angels, Trout, is the remaining 99-rated player in the game.
Performing like a middle-of-the-order slugger and an ace at the same time will definitely take you places.
In fact, we would argue that Ohtani should be in a tier of his own.
Players all around the world will get to enjoy the experience of hitting and pitching with him on their virtual teams.
It doesn’t really get much better than that.
