The Baltimore Ravens’ promising season came to a heartbreaking end.
Lamar Jackson and company fell short when it mattered the most, and while their defense responded and rose to the occasion, their offense left a lot to be desired.
That’s why Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe wants to see them making a big splash in free agency.
Talking on ESPN’s First Take, Sharpe claimed that he would love to see them signing Saquon Barkley.
He listed the talented offensive players on John Harbaugh’s team, and he thinks it would be scary to have him lining up in the backfield with Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens have always boasted a run-heavy offense.
Todd Monken tried to give Lamar Jackson the chance to stay in the pocket and be more of a passer, and he was efficient and much improved at that, but he’s still the best scrambling quarterback in the game by a significant margin.
They have a solid running game, plenty of playmakers at wide receiver, and they would add one of the most disruptive and physically imposing running backs in the game by making a run at Barkley.
As of now, the Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly leading the race to sign the former Penn State superstar.
The Ravens might not be able to pay as much money as other teams, which could hamper their chances of getting him.
Then again, from a football standpoint, it would be a beauty to watch and would make a lot of sense.
