The Los Angeles Lakers earned a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.
That means the defending champions are on the ropes and just one loss away from being eliminated in the playoffs.
And the Lakers, who started the season with a 2-10 record, are one win away from the Western Conference Finals.
On Tuesday morning, Shannon Sharpe discussed how the Lakers pulled off such a pivotal victory and he credited multiple stars, including Lonnie Walker IV.
“The Lakers won this because the execution down the stretch from the unsung guy. Lonnie Walker and their defense in the fourth was sensational,” Sharpe said.

Walker went wild in Game 4, scoring all of his 15 points in the fourth quarter of the game.
For those final minutes of the game, whatever Walker wanted, he got.
Sharpe did comment about the lockdown defense from the Lakers too, including the attention that Anthony Davis gave to Stephen Curry.
But it was Walker’s show at the end of the game and he is being celebrated far and wide by all Lakers fans.
Sharpe noted that this sort of performance has happened again and again from various supporting stars on the Lakers’ roster.
At one point, it was Austin Reaves having a big night, then Rui Hachimura, and now Walker.
There are several young players who are willing and eager to step up and have an explosive night for their team.
Obviously, the biggest names for the Lakers will always be Davis and LeBron James.
But the real reason they are winning in this series right now is that other players such as Walker are contributing alongside those superstars.
