Things got a bit heated between former NFL star Shannon Sharpe and FOX Sports pundit Skip Bayless on “Undisputed” a few months ago, which caused a rift of sorts between the two.
Ultimately, that rift was enough to make Sharpe want to leave the show, even though it was what finally gave him a voice in his post-playing career, as he became one of the most popular former players who seamlessly made the transition to being an analyst.
Once Sharpe had finally left the show, he let it be known that it wouldn’t be his last stop as an analyst, as he wanted to weigh his options and go through all the opportunities that had been given to him.
Ironically enough, Sharpe ended up joining Bayless’ former co-host Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s “First Take,” which is arguably the most popular show that showcases talking heads with grand opinions.
After his first week being teamed up with Smith at ESPN, Sharpe seems to be content, as he took to Twitter to say he feels right at home.
This just feels good man, I feel right at home 🙏🏾💪🏾🏆 pic.twitter.com/1SshJtsjey

Smith recently subtly took a shot at his former co-host by comparing the new ratings of “First Take” to “Undisputed,” which has also shaken things up with the arrival of Richard Sherman, Keyshawn Johnson, and Michael Irvin.
The new ratings showed that “First Take” blows “Undisputed” out of the water, which is likely why Sharpe feels so comfortable at ESPN and working alongside Smith, who is arguably the best in the business.
