After spending his first five seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, star wide receiver Stefon Diggs was given the opportunity to take his game to another level with the Buffalo Bills with star quarterback Josh Allen.
Fortunately for Buffalo, Diggs did end up taking his game to another level once he landed with the Bills, as he earned All-Pro honors in his first season with the team and became a Pro Bowler in four straight seasons since his arrival in 2020.
Diggs has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the NFL since becoming Allen’s favorite target downfield in Buffalo, but the team has fallen short of winning a Super Bowl title in all four of his seasons with the Bills.
With the Bills failing to live up to expectations with Diggs in the fold, the outspoken wide receiver has become somewhat of a distraction in Buffalo, with the team potentially starting to lose its patience with the veteran wideout.
ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe discussed Diggs’ role with the team and how the team will replace him the first chance they get, via “First Take.”
“The Buffalo Bills are going to tolerate him until they can replace him,” Sharpe said.

Sharpe could be on to something here, as it seems Diggs is outstaying his welcome in Buffalo because he’s constantly disgruntled despite playing the best football of his career and being part of a legitimate Super Bowl title contender.
Diggs seems to cause drama every year, and it will only be a matter of time before the team has had enough and is ready to move on.
