In sports media, there are constant debates about two players, and who is better.
For years in the NBA, many have argued for hours on end whether LeBron James is better than Michael Jordan.
In the NFL, a similar struggle exists.
Who is the best receiver of all time?
Which quarterback is the best?
At present time, one of the most heated debates is between Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow, and which quarterback is better.
On his talk show this morning, Shannon Sharpe gave his two cents on this debate.
Who would you rather have: Patrick Mahomes or Joe Burrow?
“I’m still taking Mahomes because I haven’t seen anything that’ll make me change my mind. He might be the only guy I’d take over Burrow.” — @ShannonSharpe pic.twitter.com/Yp0vLPWPpZ

At this point, Sharpe is taking Mahomes over Burrow.
Burrow has been one of the most electrifying quarterbacks in the NFL over the past two seasons, especially given the fact that he has brought the Cincinnati Bengals from worst to first in their division.
However, as Sharpe contends, there is something to be said about sustained success.
Under Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs have already won a Super Bowl, and they have won their division in seven-straight seasons.
Whether you have an affinity for Burrow or Mahomes, the quarterback position in the NFL has remained strong.
When players like Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees have either retired or are near retirement, many have wondered if there would be a steep decline in quarterback talent.
Thankfully, the league has seen significant growth at the position, not only between Burrow and Mahomes, but with players like Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, and Josh Allen as well.
