The Indianapolis Colts had an eventful past NFL season.
After firing head coach Frank Reich in the middle of the season, they turned the team over to Jeff Saturday.
Saturday never coached at the college or NFL level, yet Jim Irsay gave him the interim job.
Under Saturday the Colts went 1-7 and were bad on both sides of the ball.
But, it seems like Irsay finally made a good hire as the team’s new head coach.
Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen was named the Colts’ new head coach.
Steichen will have his work cut out for him in Indianapolis.
The Colts have no franchise quarterback on the roster and were the worst offense in the NFL last season.
Steichen’s first job should be to help his team find a franchise quarterback.
The #Colts have had 8 different starting QBs over the last 5 seasons and were last in PPG (15.8) last season. Shane Steichen has helped develop two of the NFL’s best young QBs in Justin Herbert and Jalen Hurts.

Taking a look at the NFL Draft, there are a few quarterbacks expected to go in the top five.
The Colts have the fourth overall pick in the draft, and they must be looking to draft a QB.
Steichen has a history of developing good young quarterbacks, with Herbert and Hurts.
So getting him another top young player to mold is a winning formula.
The top draft prospects to keep an eye on are Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, and Will Levis.
Each has a different style, but Young seems to be the one the Colts are interested in.
Looks like #Colts owner Jim Irsay let the cat out of the bag about the #Colts Draft plans.

Keep an eye on the Colts come draft time, as they might be looking to move up to draft Young.
Getting Steichen a young QB to work with is imperative for the Colts.
